IRCu is the ircd formally used on the Undernet network [2]. IRCu started off as a fork of ircd2.7[3] which added time stamping. IRCu serves as the reference implementation of the P10 protocol. IRCu and it's derivatives Asuka and Nefarious power the largest IRC networks.
