ircu is the ircd formally used on the [Undernet network[2]. ircu started off as a fork of ircd2.7<refttp://coder-com.undernet.org/</ref> which added time stamping. ircu serves as the reference implementation of the P10 protocol. ircu and it's derivatives Asuka and Nefarious power the largest IRC networks.
