TDFNet IRC Network
About us
TDFNet (TheDevForum IRC Network) is a small IRC network. It has about 10 channels so far, and it is growing fast, and we have about 20 users. We have a lot of capacity on our server and we have 3 IRCOps. All of the members know each other well, and we are a very friendly community. We have a quotes database at ibash.org/TDFNet too!

Why use TDFNet?
TDFNet has very friendly members and staff, and we have a quite powerful server. We protect against proxies, so spammers struggle to do their jobs, and we will be able to help in most situations!
FAQ
Do you provide vHosts?
Yes, if you wish to remain more anonymous, we will provide a vHost at our discretion. If you are denied a vHost, there will be a valid reason.
Can I make my own channels?
Yes, we encourage you to do so!
What if I need to use a proxy?
If you can find a reason to use a proxy that cannot be done with other features, and we give permission, we may make an exception. Otherwise, no. Don't forget, if you donate, you can use our ZNC service for one month!

#tdf is the main channel. See Main Channels for more info.
Can I have X permissions on TDFNet and #tdf?
Begging for permissions is unlikely to get you anywhere. For example, saying, "Can I be oper" is unlikely to sway our opinion. If we need another oper, we will consider the senior, more trusted members first, merely because we know them better. If you want permissions on your own channel, you need to set this up. If you need help, you know where to go!
