Sailirc is a small irc network, with a single server, that was made for all people who love sailing or any type of water sports.
If you like powerboats -- sailboats -- or just love being on the water please join us.
Although we are based around sailing we welcome all kinds of topics.
We like to meet new people from all over the world. Sailirc aims to be sound and popup friendly all we ask is keep them under 20 lines. Sailirc uses a Java webclient called GoPJirc on their website, which, when used, automatically joins the #lobby and #chat channels.

History

This network was founded around the year 2003 by Nora H, in 2004 it changed to Sailirc. Today this network stands good and clear for the rest of us to use, we attempt to make it as safe and clean as we can.
