X-Chat Aqua is a fork of XChat[1] with a Cocoa based frontend. X-Chat Aqua maintains a look-and-feel similar to that of stock XChat[1], however the frontend is written in Cocoa, presenting native Cocoa Widgets and removing the dependency on the X server. The project has sent key changes back upstream to the XChat project.
