RFC281x
RFC281x are *not* updates to RFC1459. There are no officially recognized protocol updates and likely never will be until ircv3. RFC1459 can only be updated by it's creator since it's officially an experimental protocol.
RFC281x actually pertain to any network that uses IRCNet's ircd and nothing more. RFC281x is for information only and is not a standard at all.
