LinkNet
About us
LinkNet is one of the older IRC networks, being formed in 1999. LinkNet's main focus is providing a platform where users can chat securely, being one of the first networks to provide server-to-server and client-to-server encryption. LinkNet has a stable 8,500~ client user base. The LinkNet IRCD was forked from ratbox circa 2004.
Servers
LinkNet maintains servers across the globe, with a geodns round robin, while primarily focusing on European locations. Many LinkNet servers provide native IPv6 access.
