Conspire is a standalone IRC client forked from XChat 2.8 CVS designed to be more friendly for users who join large amounts of channels by the Atheme Project. Notable features are SASL support, SHUN detection and a tree view based server status window/channel window switcher. The XChat plugin API and DBus support was removed, thus Conspire will not work with XChat plugins. Conspire utilizes GNUTLS instead of OpenSSL, allowing for wider distribution than possible with OpenSSL's license.
